CBT & CBT Renewals
Rolled out in December 1990 by the Government and implemented by the Driving Standards Agency. The idea was to skill up new Motor Bike learners in Road safety and Basic Roadcraft to reduce the number of road incidents involving motorcyclists.
To this end, all Full and Provisional licence holders must complete a CBT to ride on the road. UNLESS they held a FULL Driving Licence before Feb 2001, in which case they can ride a Moped up to 50cc without L Plates.
